Here is more information about Pieter Groeneveldt:
The works of Pieter Groeneveld are among the most collectible of all
contemporary Dutch ceramists. Groeneveld graduated from the Rijksacademie in 1914. After his graduation, he became a master in painting, sculpture and eventually ceramics. While running the Tony den Haag florist shop, he noticed a lack of attractive vessels for floral arrangements. This led him to create innovative textures and glazes, that he would become famous for. Groeneveldt's work is featured in museums all over the world. This stunning vase is a perfect example of his iconic work!
