Mid Century Black and Brown Studio Pottery Plate // Frank C Mann Vermont
$625.00Ask a question
Scarce large scale studio pottery dish expertly handcrafted in the 1950s by master potter Frank Mann in his Vermont studio.
Mann was famous for his use of clean lines and bold stripes, painted over a heavy white stoneware body. His work is bold and beautiful; sleek to the eye and touch.
Features Mann's signature Scandinavian Modern style. Rare 1950s "fish" plate. Large scale size. Iconic black and brown watercolor design. Creamy semi-glazed stoneware body. Bumpers at the bottom. Hand-signed by artist.
Excellent Vintage/Used Condition with a few unnoticeable stains from use and production scratches at the bottom of the dish. These scratches are synonymous with Frank Mann pieces. Colors may appear different in person.
